Photo Syncing
Two way syncing
photoSync does two way synchronizing of your photos and sets. Any changes you make to your Flickr photos and sets on the Flickr site will be automatically down synchronized to your local Flickr directory on your computer by the photoSync app. Conversely, any changes you make to your local computer's Flickr directory will be automatically upsynced to your sets and photos on the Flickr website.
Folders and photos that are synchronized are shown with a green check overlay on your computer.
Safe synchronizing
- Deleted photos on Flickr will appear in the Recycle Bin on the user's computer
- Recycle Bin holds deleted photos until it is emptied - new 1.1.1 feature to prevent accidentally deleted photos
- Deletes of local folders behaves the same as deletes of sets on Flickr. Directory or Set is deleted, but not the photos contained within. This prevents you from accidentally deleting photos in a set.
Not in a set synchronizing
- Photos that are not in sets are now synchronized in version 1.1 ( photoSync 1.0 only synchronized sets)
- New user interface to manage photos "Not in a Set". Allows you to easily Move and Delete photos not in a set.
